- Our Story
Serving Kamloops since 2009
Tucked into Northhills Mall, Spice Indian Cuisine has been the North Shore’s go-to for honest, flavor-forward Indian cooking for over fifteen years. Our kitchen leans on family recipes, fresh ground spices, and the kind of patience you can only taste — slow simmers, hand-rolled breads, tandoor-fired meats.
Whether it’s the weekday lunch buffet, a quiet dinner, or a takeout order on a long evening, we want every plate to feel like a warm welcome home.

What our customers are saying.
Delicious food, The Fish Pakora and Butter Chicken is the Best! Highly Recommend!
As a white girl who asks for things crazy Indian spicy, these guys actually do a good job of listening. The spiciest food I've received in Kamloops, spectacular flavour, excellent service. Every time I walk by the restaurant I get FOMO. Highly recommend!
I had a very disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant’s buffet. The price was quite high, but the variety of dishes offered was extremely limited. Surprisingly, the main item seemed to be plain basmati rice, which is usually served complimentary with curries at most Indian restaurants. It felt like the “free” side dish was being presented as the main course. The dessert selection was equally underwhelming—there was only one option, a rice pudding, which did not taste good. There were no additional desserts or even basic options like cut fruits. Overall, the buffet did not offer value for money, either in terms of variety or quality. This was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend it.
I ordered in, staff is awesome, quick delivery, nice people. Food is very yummy, will order again for sure. recommended (Y)
I've been coming here for years with family, friends and cowokers. Their food is great. I absolutely love their mango lassis. It's never super busy in there if you dine in which is great. I think they do a lot of takeout.
Ordered delivery and it was perfect! Just the right amount of spice, really good amounts of everything and it all tasted delicious.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a Welcoming and Delicious Experience! We had a wonderful time at Spice Kamloops! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming especially toward my children, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, even bringing out fresh naan just for my son without us having to ask. The food was absolutely delicious flavorful, fresh, and a great variety on the buffet. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves amazing food but also makes families feel comfortable and relaxed.
Best Indian food in BC. Fantastic menu, fresh spices so many great flavors. Love this place.
The food was delicious the service was amazing. Wasn’t waiting long at all Kodos to the chef
Always delicious food and the service is so friendly. The new menus offers some great combos; the perfect way to introduce my friend to Indian cuisine. (She loved it 🙂 ) Of course we'll be back!
Excellent Indian restaurant. I've eaten at various Indian restaurants across BC and the UK and this is one of the best I've ever been too. Highly recommended.
Awesome Food and Tea. Authentic taste and only proper Indian Dine-in Restaurant in North Shore
The food is really nice and delicious. The portion is very big for one Thali. The restaurant itself has a good theme which really suitable. The waiter are nice and friendly. Overall, it's really worth it to visiting here.
We just started coming here earlier this year, and the whole experience is great. I like the service, everyone is so friendly, and always smiling. I've always had great food here, I've never been disappointed. Thank you Spice, you're my new favorite place in the North Shore!!
Come here often, never disappoints. I always get great service and delicious food. The portions are amazing too!
Wonderful dining experience with attentive staff and flavourful food. The food came out at a good presentation . The staff member came out during our meal to see how we were doing which was a very nice gesture. The restaurant has ample seating and ambiance lighting. I personally found the food to be at a good spice .They had some fancy naans excellent. i Would recommend giving this place a try. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5
Samosas were delicious, as was the butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh and peshwari naan. Best Indian food we have had in a very long time. Highly recommend.
Staff is super friendly and restaurant is bright and clean. Smells amazing! The best curry in Kamloops! I just had the curried prawns and so delicious!
We visited Spice Indian Cuisine restaurant for dinner while visiting our son in Kamloops. The place is tastefully decorated, a bit older looking decoration, but good. This place had 3-4 tables full with guest, service was good. Food was very good, the only thing we didn’t like was that the Shahi Paneer was not spiced to our taste, but goat curry was great and also the seafood platter was excellent. I would recommend this place.
The food here is consistently good, and the portions are huge! They don't look like it when it's delivered to your table but there's a deceptively large amount of food lol my partner and I share an entree and often still have leftovers. The samosas are like a spiritual experience. Prices are great, especially for the portion sizes. Highly recommend.
I came from surrey for two days in kamloops and i am glad i stopped for dinner at spice. it have one of the best food that i ever had in BC. The food taste like amazing and it genuinely amazing and price wise it was perfect value for money during this inflationary period. The staff over here is very welcoming. will definitely come next time.10/10
- From the Kitchen
We opened our doors in Kamloops in 2009 with one simple belief — that authentic Indian food cooked with love needs nothing else. Over 15 years later that belief has never changed. Neither has the recipe.
